I am very happy to be involved again with an Agenda event ; I believe I have images in the new Celtic Mists volume being launched on the sunday evening - from my work in progress on Mharbna, the book I wrote when on a residency in Donegal; (one day this book WILL BE FINISHED!).

I hope also to be exhibiting in Handmade and Bound at St Brides Printing Library on November 18th - watch this space for further details.

Pop-Up Cock Robin for the Whitechapel Art Book Fair

Haven't had time to do much publicity as I decided to do a new pop-up rather last moment....might just get it finished, how many more hours to go??? another late night then......but I'm having fun trying the combination of my printing and coloured card in juxtaposition, and seeing how  different shapes interract as the pop-up moves about and is in different positions...hours of happy fun, quite hard on the grey matter thought too, not being mathematically minded I have to do it all by feel and intuition..

ArtWave in Lewes - Open Studio

Next up is my Open Studio in Lewes ArtWave, which runs from August 25th until September 9th.
I am open every day 11am until 5pm, except for monday 3rd september.

The Con(stitutional) Club is just passed the bottle neck in Lewes going up towards St Anne's Church (where  there is a bus stop from Brighton ); it is sandwiched between the Old Grammar School buildings. I am the first door on the left as you go in , and there will be other events there in the afternoon, weekdays 2-6pm and weekends midday - 6pm, real ales at the bar and a lovely little garden, and access down to the Paddock Studios exhibition...)

Unfortunately I won't be at the opening party as I will be open in my studio at that time, but Sue's falmer show is always a really good one and well worth a visit.

REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE IN MY NEW STUDIO SPACE - ring in on my mobile number or e-mail to make an appointment, especially if outside those hours is much easier.....

Pictures of our Railway Land book show

Here are some pictures of the third incarnation of our show promoting our Railway Land book at the Linklater, we moved the pics around 3 times for different events to catch as many viewers as possible , culminating in the Railway Land Festival last saturday when about 1500 people turned up to enjoy some good weather and a host of different stands and activities and excellent 50p tea and cake. We had lots of enthusiatic comments - and sales! and made some good contacts for our next project about the river.
You can see the lovely we view we have of the river and Cliffe Bridge where we work in the top picture; hard to get good photos tho because of all the light...
