ArtWave one week in

Here are some studio shots....

two more weekends and the bank holiday monday to go - do come and visit....the earthenware jugs are by James  the poet, its hard to see from the pic but the owl ones are especially lovely...

Went to hear Jeremy Parrett from MMU Special Collections talk about Barnett Freedman today - really interesting
btw the Towner Symposium in mid September has been cancelled - we thought you might all be a bit ravilioused out - and the show will soon be moving on to Sheffield, where I will be speaking in November next...with a special day event on the women in the group again; watch this space for further details in due course......
and don't forget the Towner Ink Paper and Print event  on October 15...should be great; see blog post two back for the posters....

Printing feverishly...

 Still finishing my book for ArtWave Open Studio - hopefully there will be lots of proof prints for sale - I tried uploading an image of them all spread out but it persists in uploading upside down; those who read this blog regularly will know that computers and I don't mix - I tried to fool it turning the image upside down at source in my folder but it still appeared upside down and I gave up; now I have this lovely  couple of posters for a great looking show at Towner that I am going to take part in in October; check it out online....and I'll post more later but save the date....
I'll try taking some more photos of my work again later - should be finished printing by weekend hopefully....
